The need
Semarang is Central Java's biggest waste producer, at 1,276.74 tons a day. The research team at Universitas Negeri Semarang needed a better way to monitor landfills than static map figures.
What we built
Im.Carto built the Landfill Monitoring Information System, a WebGIS where the research data can be explored interactively in the browser.
The result
The landfill monitoring research became much easier. The team could explore the data interactively instead of reading static figures.
