FAQ

What exactly do I get?

A website built around an interactive map of your data. Visitors zoom, click a point or area to see photos and details, filter by category, and share a link or QR code. We build it from your spreadsheet and photos and host it for you.

How is this different from Google My Maps or a map plugin?

Those tools are great for a quick map. We build a site in your branding with photos, custom fields and, from the Research package up, a page for every location that search engines can index. We also handle the hosting.

What data formats can I send?

Excel with coordinate columns (latitude, longitude), or KML, SHP and GeoJSON files. Photos can simply go in one folder, with file names matching your data.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not for the regular packages: hosting, domain, database and photo storage are included within the package limits. Your own .com or .id domain is an optional yearly add-on. For real estate only, the Business package is also available monthly with Airestate.

Can I upgrade my package later?

Yes. You only pay the difference in package price, and your data and design stay in use.

Do you work with clients outside Indonesia?

Yes. We work in English and the prices on this page are in US dollars. You pay a 50% deposit to start and the rest before launch; payment details come with your order.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Connecting your own domain is an add-on. Without it, your map lives on a free Im.Carto subdomain.
